Q. How often should I deep clean?

A. It depends on your skin type. For oily skin, we recommend 2 to 3 times a week. For normal-combination skin, 1 to 2 times a week is recommended. Be sure to read and follow the instructions.

Q. Which of your cleansers do you recommend if you have oily skin?

A. Botanical Cleansing Gel.

Moisturizers

Q. Do I have to use a moisturizer if I'm oily?

A. Yes. Oily doesn't mean that you have the needed moisture to maintain a healthy complexion. Using an oil-free moisturizer will replenish the needed moisture without adding to the oiliness of your skin.

Q. Which product should I use for a nighttime moisturizer?

A. Hidden Beauty Skin Enhancing Creme.

Q. Can I use Hidden Beauty with Vantex?

A. Yes. First use Hidden Beauty then follow with Vantex. Be sure to read and follow the instructions for the use of Vantex.

Q. Why is necessary for me to use a cleanser, rinse and moisturizer? Can I use one without the other or can I use just a cleanser and moisturizer?

A. The products recommended for use in a 3-step treatment system are formulated to work together for maximum effect. Eliminating one step will diminish the effectiveness of the system and the maximum benefits will not be achieved.

MAKEUP

Color

Q. How do I choose the correct shade of makeup?

A. When choosing a foundation shade, it's best to use a clean spot on the chin area and blend to see that it matches your neck.

Q. Why don't you have more shades for women that need a lighter shade of foundation?

A. Our shade selections are usually based on customer demand. Two of our lighter shades, Fawn and Almond, were added to our shade selection to accommodate the majority of our lighter customers who fall in those shade ranges.

Q. Why did you change the Perfect Finish Creme Makeup case?   

A. To improve the durability of the case and modernize its appearance.

Concealer

Q. How do I use the Cover Stick or concealer?

A. First you apply it to the area you wish to conceal, then apply your make up and blend to even out the skin tone.

Powder

Q. When do you use a face powder?

A. Generally a face powder is used when you first apply your makeup. It sets your foundation and allows your blush to go on smoother.

Q. What is the difference between pressed powder and face powder?

A. Face powder is used to set your foundation after application and serves as a base for the color products that may be used in the makeup process (blush, eye shadow, etc.). Pressed powder is packaged for use to touch up your makeup during the course of the day or to help maintain a matte appearance to the face if preferred.  

Lips 

Q. Why should you use a lip liner pencil?

A. A lip liner pencil helps define your lips. It sets a border for lipstick and lip gloss application and helps to prevent bleeding of your lipstick or gloss.

Q. Does Fashion Fair have seminars to show customers how to apply makeup?

A. In-Store Beauty Clinics or Seminars are conducted at some of the department stores during the year.   If there is a Fashion Fair cosmetics counter at a department store in your area, contact the Beauty Advisors concerning your interest in learning how to apply your makeup.

Q. Can I get samples of the products to try before I purchase?

A. Samples are not available Online.   However samples of some products are distributed at Fashion Fair beauty counters.

Q. Can you send me a catalog of all your products before I order?
