Primary Function:

Directs all aspects of supply chain management including contract manufacturer production, demand planning, inventory management, quality assurance, purchasing/supplier optimization, logistics management and systems/process improvement.

Principal Accountabilities

Oversees strategy, planning, implementation and control of all Fashion Fair Cosmetics operations.



  • Forms and maintains strategic partnerships with suppliers, distributors and customers.
  • Creates communication processes and channels for critical information and operational improvements with key retail customers, contract manufacturers and raw material suppliers.
  • Optimization including number, location and size of warehouses, distribution centers, and facilities.
  • Co-manages product designs with Product Development team so that new and existing products can be optimally integrated into current and future supply chain management processes.
  • Develops information technology infrastructure to support supply chain operations
  • Develops optimal purchasing/procurement and production strategy.
  • Ensures organization strategy is consistent with supply strategy.
  • Interfaces with all core departments including finance, product development


  • Manages staff of 3 -5 direct reports that have core competencies in various areas of supply chain management.
  • Oversees development of sourcing contacts and other purchasing decisions
  • Oversees production decisions including contracting, locations, scheduling and planning process definition.
  • Oversees inventory decisions including quantity, location and quality of inventory.
  • Oversees transportation strategy including frequency, routes and contracting.
  • Benchmarks all operations against key competitors and implementation of best practices throughout the company.

The Director has extensive contact with outside clients, buyers, vendors, the public and department staff.

Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Masters in Business Administration, Logistics Management or related field preferred. A minimum of 7+ years of experience in supply chain management; Cosmetic Operations experience preferred. Demonstrated leadership/mastery in all areas of Supply Chain management & optimization including new product introduction, product development, raw materials management, inventory management, working with suppliers, key technology systems and other key supply chain competencies.
Ability to work in dynamic, complex business environment and demonstrated capacity to handle multiple projects. Proven ability to manage staff and recognized as a strong developer/coach of people.

Working Conditions
Normal office environment. Occasional out-of-town and international travel is required, as well as attendance at various meetings.

eCommerce Manager

Position Summary:

The eCommerce Manager is accountable for driving guest conversion, retention, incremental sales, visits, and lifetime value. The candidate will participate in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management and will serve as the leader in the direct marketing function for the company including developing the contact strategy, managing customer relationships, and post campaign analysis and insights.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the company’s e-commerce business, develop and execute digital content & marketing calendar, strategies, initiatives and campaigns that focus on building the relationship and value among our customers.
  • Oversee the strategy and performance of campaigns across all channels and partner with the digital groups to drive segmentation, personalization and targeting in email and other online marketing campaigns.
  • Manage detailed metrics reports of all programs, analyzing the key components of each campaign, including vehicles, offers, messaging and creative. (ie email marketing, SEO, Google Adwords).
  • Daily creation of new, engaging original digital content for email blast (typically pushed out one per week) as well as campaigns and triggered email series..
  • Daily collaboration with cross-functional teams at all levels of the company including the Marketing, Sales Manager, Operations Manager and Social Media Coordinator to meet brand’s objectives.
  • Leads Instagram layout with Social Media Coordinator/Copywriter by sourcing inspiration and product driven images to post on platforms.
  • Keen understanding of brand will be essential to product development and working with the design team on seasonal and capsule collections.
  • Meet all deadlines under pressure, and can react to unexpected schedule changes.

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in experience in experience marketing, strong direct-to-consumer experience
  • Cosmetics or consumer packaged goods experience a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong analytical / quantitative skills with excellent knowledge of excel, expertise with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Experience managing Amazon and affiliate stores
  • Deep interest in fashion, beauty, pop culture and social e-commerce.
  • Experience in utilizing a strong brand identity to drive direct response.

Account Executive

Primary Function

Responsible for driving sales and increasing revenue within targeted region. Must maintain excellent relationships with all retail contacts within the geographic area, as well as, train, coach and develop beauty advisors.

Principal Accountabilities

Accountability for sell thru on existing and new product collections. Host consistent retailer meeting in order to communicate sales, event and staff opportunities.
Analyze key opportunities by door to insure optimum sales growth.

Duties & Responsibilities


  • Work together with Regional Manager to establish an annual sales plan for the account and region.
  • Communicate Fashion Fair's sales and marketing programs to store management. Secure store management support to properly execute Fashion Fair's sales and marketing calendar.
  • Motivate and develop Fashion Fair's Beauty advisors and in store team through coaching, sales education and the development of Fashion Fair's sales and marketing programs.
  • Maintain a close business relationship with our retail partners to deliver our sales and shipment plan.
  • Assist retailer in creatively sourcing, interviewing and hiring the best fit candidates for Counter Managers and Beauty Advisors.
  • Communicate Beauty Advisors performance problems quickly by involving Human Resource and all the appropriate store management.
  • Work with store management to achieve appropriate inventory levels, timely order flow and general business support to grow Fashion Fair's retail sales.
  • Ensure consistent merchandising in all stores and that key items are presented in a compelling manner.
  • Customize sells presentations for specific accounts as needed.

Knowledge and Skills

A Bachelors degree with at least three years of sales experience; experience in long sales cycles (six to 12 months) is required; knowledge of territorial management and experience in processing and costing promotional efforts and their ROI is required. Open relations and great rapport, and constant interaction with clients and staff is expected. Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to think and perform creatively. PC skills are required with proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must also be detailed oriented, have well developed communication skills, the ability to meet monthly deadlines and excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are necessary. Cosmetic industry preferred. Reliable transportation with insurance is required; access to a personal computer with internet access is necessary.

Buyer/Planner - Packaging and Components

Reports To: Director Of Operations

Primary Function

The position of Buyer/Planner – Packaging and Components is responsible for planning, purchasing, and managing all components of primary, secondary and promotional packaging for 300+ finished goods. Proactively manage supply chain, operations, compliance, and reporting. * Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to reduce total cost of goods sold through more efficient product specifications, product sourcing, purchasing practices, and competitive pricing negotiation.
* Develop and compile specifications report for more than 300 items, including artwork, bill of materials, cost of goods, die lines, proofs and ingredients / product specifications. Manage regulatory documentation including product formulas, product specifications, and certificates of analysis, manufacturing data, and product labeling.
* Source innovative packaging concepts as primary liaison between Marketing and Creative in designing, editing, proofing and directing initial production of new packaging components. Develop and source all print collateral, POS materials, displays and GWP promotional materials.
* Measure and manage supplier performance against standards such as on-time delivery, cost per unit, and consistency of product quality.
* Ensure regulatory compliance for cosmetics and OTC drugs; ensure component artwork is in compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations regarding packaging and labeling in the U.S., EU and Canada.
* Manage analyst responsible for aligning purchase orders with supply forecasts and required delivery timelines, as well as monthly inventory reconciliation and reporting.

Key Performance Metrics

* Minimize “out-of-stock” instances
* Maintain “days of inventory on-hand”, “inventory turns” and total inventory purchases in line with targeted levels
* Manage (reduce or limit the rate of increase) the cost of goods purchased
* Support on-schedule launch / roll-out of new products and promotions


* 5+ years of experience in inventory management, buying and/or purchasing with demonstrated proficiency in purchasing and inventory management principles and practices
* Experience in purchasing / managing inventory of consumer products packaging products and familiarity with specifying, proofing and managing production of commercially printed labeling and packaging products strongly preferred.
* Experience in the cosmetics, beauty or personal care products industry strongly preferred
* Experience in using ERP supported requisition, purchasing and inventory management systems and tools

Beauty Advisor

Position Summary

Responsible for driving and building retail sales. The Fashion Fair Beauty Advisor reports to the Business/ Counter Manager


• Achieve personal sales goals while supporting the goals of the team
• Maintain Fashion Fair professional dress standards and appearance
• Comply with store policies concerning attendance, tardiness, and associate handbook
• Provide honest and confident feedback to customers regarding products
• Build lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggest new products and invite them to upcoming events
• Consistently seek new trend and product knowledge to act as an expert for the customers
• Attend seasonal Beauty Schools
